i need some help deciding what i should do concerning my audio stuff but first the background story...

I had 2 bazooka 12's (dvc, 300rms) gettin around 250watts a piece in a sealed box around .9 something cu ft. per chamber powered by a kenwood 9102D that did 500x1@4 and 850x1@2 and it sounded real good in my car, i was happy with it (96 Escort sedan). Well i wrecked that car and now i'm getting a 01' Focus, also a sedan... so here is my question. Should i sell that setup as it still works and sounds fine but the box took a little damage from the wreck (flipped the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif ) it was never covered so its purely cosmetic, so keep it and put it in the new car or sell it? and what do you think i could get out of it if i sell the stuff locally?

But... in my room i have a brand new MOFO 10 that i got for $105. Now should i give the MOFO a nice home in say a box tuned to around 38hz thats about 1.77cu.ft after all displacement(i still need to check my box specs and calculations) and feed it about 1200 @1 or what //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif ? and whats an amp i could do that with for under $230

i was also wanting to replace the front factory 6x8s with a next set of coax and put an amp to them cause i have a little Alpine 2 channel that does 50x2@4, would that be worth doing and what do you guys reccomend? i really dont want to do comps just becasue of fabrication reasons. my budget is very tight here too casue of rising insurance and a fines, so like under $65 for 6x8s

and i have a pioneer deh-7700 as my head unit if that helps any

thanks for any help guys

thanks i'll look into those 6x8s. And would it be worth putting and amp to them at all or should i just run them off the h.u.? I know that with an amp they would sound better but the sub wouldnt be going in til at the earliest spring so should i wait until i get the sub ready then just hook everything up at once or do the 6x8s and amp them now so they are outta the way?

i've done installs for my friends but everything was done all at once and i just dont know if i should do half now and half later or just all at once.

thanks again

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
