They will get pretty warm....

strong performers, early ones had a habit of catching fire, at least in james herren's experience, lol.

keep voltage up, or run 16 volts, they are powerhouses. low voltage issues could lead to you knowing the memphis service center.

well my truck charges at 13.7 i gotta get a new alt so i can run external regulater and bump it up to 14.7 with 2 stinger 2150's and 2 runs of 1/0 and BTW amp will be ran at 1.33ohm... think ill have problems?

I love mine. Voltage does get low. But not for long i tend to watch it. I love it.

do what baseballer is doing, be vigil, and you should be fine. i honestly believe memphis has it worked out, as this last set of service rounds as been the last. adn these amps i speak of are some of the very first made available. might have been an early production issue.

i had a VFL400.1 @1ohm with stock alt and 2 SVR80's under the hood, didnt have any problems didnt even get the amp to clip.. even droped it to .5ohm and it did fine

i kinda left them out of my amp options cause i thought a hc1800 and 2400 wouldnet be enough
