Opinions on how to run front stage

Currently running pioneer ts-d1730c components upfront using the passive crossovers. Another pair or the same woofers in the rear actively band passed. I'm considering getting rid of the rear fill. I could either run my front stage active, or save for better component set and bridge my 4 channel amp and run more power to the front stage using the passive crossovers they come with. Kinda going crazy trying to decide. Looking for opinions. So basically it's either running front stage fully active vs running front stage passive with more power

Cool. So that's what I was thinking too. But if I won't need as much power, should I run less than the rated rms of the set? Will the tweeter and woofer still handle 60 watts active?
Set the gains like normal. Than level match everything. Focus on the midrange and bring everything to that level

Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna give it a shot. I see you have the hertz hsk165xl. How do you like them? They are on my radar for possible upgrade in the near future

Any good quality speaker set with a sensitivity rating in the low-mid 90s should get plenty loud on 50W per driver. Try your Pioneer components active before buying new speakers.

Yup. I ditched the passive crossovers and wow, it really did make a difference. Probably going to end up bringing the tweeters down a little. But clarity is much better. Details are much better. It's like night and day. I can't believe how much of a difference it made going active. And I haven't even fooled around with different crossover points yet. Now just looking forward to dialing it in
