I see a lot of people with opinions on what is happening, a lot of STRONG opinions. Even to the point of saying things on the internet that they don't realize they can't take back.

Everyone has an opinion, share it. If you think it needs to be in the poll, add it.

Don't be stupid. This forum is racial slur free and racism free. It always will be.

You can say Fuck, shit, cunt, asshole, etc. Half of us are all those things anyway, but nobody deserves to be hated on.

Stay on topic. If you start hating on people, your posts will be removed.

Everybody has all these STRONG opinions and some are even killing people and 99% of them out there don't even know the truth about how the shooting really went down...... heck I don't even know what really happened, I wasn't looking at the officer when he started shooting

They started burning and looting before they even knew what actually happened. The Liberal media is so disgustingly biased and irresponsible. They should be charged with the crimes committed due to their misreporting and race baiting. Isn't inciting a riot a crime?

Nothing says I'm saddened, upset, generally not happy with the way the police force works like rioting and looting. What does looting bestbuy have to do with the death of a young man?

I'm not nearly up to speed on every detail of this case, and none of us were there that night so we can have our own opinions. But none of us have the facts nor will we ever have them all.

Typical police training doesnt have you shooting someone 4,5,6 times in the back and 2 in the head. What is it 3 in the chest and one up top? Do i feel what he did may have been excessive possibly, but im not him, dont know what was going through his head. To many people have a false sense of entitlement, and general lack of respect for law enforcement. Every time ive ever delt with them Ive always been respectful polite and honest and ive never been taserd, beaten, shot, whatever.

If a cop asks you a question or tells you to do something why push back? why talk ****? why be angry that he is asking you to do something so that he feels safer doing his job?

I'm by no means siding with the cops by the rioting and everything else is not helping your case of police brutality or corruption your proving a point and making your community look bad.

This is where community leaders, clergy, the al sharptons of the world need to meet and hold peaceful protests, and demand answers.

What I always find funny is when the parents and people from the community only become active when someone is killed by the cops. Murder happens almost daily in cities and everyone goes i didnt see anything, when most know dam well who did it. If people spent more time watching their kids and knowing whats going on in their neighborhood the gang's, crime and everything else would greatly decrease

I wasn't going too do this, but.... As a black man, I am truly appalled by the behaviour of this particular community. We do not know ALL of the facts, and can someone please tell me the point of the looting. To me, atleast , it seems that it's perfectly fine for us to kill each other, but god forbid anyone else do so, especially the.police. When we, ourselves, turn our backs and become less than law abiding citizens, how else can we expect the police to treat us? Where is the civil unrest when innocent children are killed as bystanders? We have become our own worst enemy, we don't have to be concerned about others doing us in, our own are doing a fine job of that for us. Some will, and some won't agree, your choice. We need to remember all that has been surpassed, if you want to be treated as a member of a positive society, let go of the 'thug' life mentality, pull up your gdam pants, and act like you belong. Yeah, this became a rant, sorry about that. Just sick and tired of the same old same old. I work everyday, do my level best to be a positive role model to my kids (my job to do, not any athlete or celebrity), and at the end of the day, hopefully I was able to make somebody's day just a lil bit better. Nuff said, I'm done, peace out.

The sad thing is the true losers in this are the black community ,things will be even harder for them to move ahead out of the viscous cycle of poverty and dependence on the system, the hoodlums and the trash media glamorizing this behavior are instilling a hatred and fear in the White Christian working community, that have largely became more tolerant to others over the last 25 years, and is still the largest demographic in this country, it is sad to see those bridges of equality and understanding burning in Ferguson, MO every night this continues, while your nations leaders continue to stir the pot for there on prejudice and agenda ( see AG Eric Holder)

I have seen with my own two eyes who the real victims in these kind of deals , it is the single mother with three kids working two jobs and the elderly people just trying to get by and live , hiding in there homes in fear just wanting it all to be over and there families safe and not from some racist cop(s) but from there own people

I'm watching the news now and it only makes me more and more angry. Regarding the police releasing the video of " young" Michael Brown strong arming the shop owner, when police kill a bank robber, do they say "police kill bank robber" or do they say "police shot sweet young boy who never hurt any one and loves puppies" and wait until after the funeral to call him a bank robber?

The black community needs to stop rushing to the aid of other blacks just because they are black. Just that alone discredits the progress that needs to be done in this area. "Unarmed teen" is not the same as "honor student". It's hard to say that all the protest is justified when you are trying to speak up on someone who is clearly violent and breaks the law. I am not siding with any side but the black community needs to stop acting like they are all innocent because they are black. You don't see the black community lash out at the teens beating the elderly or getting the law breakers out of there community. I can't tell you how many times the NOPD asks for the help of the community to find criminals in certain black communities but yet they don't want to be a "snitch". Stop standing by you race and stand by your community.

I do not agree with the looting.. Those partaking in looting should be held accountable.

But, I also feel that the cops are over stepping their roles.

I'm just sick of race being put into every sentence. It was a person shot & killed, I was not there along with millions of others. Does it matter if a black cop shoots and kills a white man who is attacking him ? Nope and vice versa. The news is stirring the race baiting pretty good.
