Opinions on deadener

Im looking for opinions on the different deadeners availible. Ive heard alot of good things about Dynamat but obviously it is more expensive that Fattmat or Rammat. Ive found some ebay listings for Fattmat for $100 for 100sq.ft. including install equipment, but im not sure about the construction of this brand. I dont want anything that is gonna stink up my truck and not stay adheared. So I was wondering what your opinions and experiences were. I know I probably could have searched this all out but I didnt think about that until I started typing sorry.

I found the ad on ebay for Fatmat 100 SQ FT for $140 shipped and looked at his feedback. Then I asked 6 of the hundreds of people that had purchased it from him their opinion and 4 replied.

Most thought the quality was very good. all said it sticks real good and does'nt smell. Only one that had used Dynamat Extreme said that it took a couple layers to equal the same sound deadening. But his comment was he didnt need multiple layers on most. Only the roof. One guy said he had a factory sound system and only wanted his ride to be more quite and he was very pleased.

So I ordered 100 ft and will give it a try.
