Hmm. Im not so certain about that.May have to ask Jim/@mylows10.. I doubt it though. Ive never had to use a clipping light/meter.Ive always set my gains/towards my maxed volume on HU towards distortion and backed off till clean, and left there,by ear..Ive never had a real issue with any of my subs in almost 20 yrs.without a DMMI have a question. My AB 4480 doesn't have a Clipping light on the Bass knob... Can I buy one that does and replace it? As long as the connection is the same?
Started looking around and noticed all the Bass Knobs with Clipping lights had modular connectors and the one without the light just had Stereo jack.Hmm. Our 4480 cannot use a clip light, but you could always purchase a dd-1 and connect it for permanent use.Started looking around and noticed all the Bass Knobs with Clipping lights had modular connectors and the one without the light just had Stereo jack.
I second thisI have a question. My AB 4480 doesn't have a Clipping light on the Bass knob... Can I buy one that does and replace it? As long as the connection is the same?
If you really need one so bad on a amp that has no possibility of having one then google project 57 or others alike.I second this

It is a do it yourself clip indicator for any electronic device including sub amps.
