Okay, I recently received a Epox EP-8RDA+ motherboard, AMD Athlon CPU, 1GB Corsair RAM, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card, 1 Seagate 120GB hard drive and a 10GB Maxtor hard drive along with some fans and a dvd burner. Oh, and I have a Antec case with a 460-watt PSU.

Well, some of you may recall the problem I had with the Epox board. I am just going to buy a brand new board and CPU.

I was thinking of the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe board matched with the AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1GHz CPU from newegg. Here are the links....

Any opinions on this pair of hardware?

How much $$$ u got to spend? If you have like a grand I'd just replaced your old video card, and go for a new mobo with sli, a 3700+ cpu and 2 7800GTx's or something. That way your still not in the old AGP world
