I have two pairs of Focal components speakers, 60w RMS & 75W RMS. I am running them with a filter, as I have two 8" subs as well.

Looking to get an amp to drive just the focals (subs will have thier own amp) and have found an Alpine MRV - F540 V12 for sale on eBay. No idea what price it will go for but I am watching it.

It is 4 x 80 RMS. As I recall it was pretty good.

How does this amp compare to newer stuff?
