amplifier wont turn on? HELP PLEASE!

So everything was working fine for like 3 months. One day the sub just stopped working. I checked ground and its good.

***When I undo the 12v lead and reattach it, the amplifier turns on real quick then shuts back off. At first I just thought my remote lead was bad but like I said the amplifier will turn on real quick before going back off***

Any thoughts on what could be going on? never had this happen.

Open that bish up and see if anythings discolored/blown.

Output circuit might be shorted. Disconnect the sub wiring at the amp and see if it'll turn on.

smell it too. you'll know something is with the amp if it smells like fried circuit board

Okay.

So i opened the amp up and everything looks fine. I will post picture.

Its a kenwood amplifier and the blue lights on the amp turn on, but the red triangle on the top only lights up when i first connect the remote turn on. I tried hooking up another amp and it worked fine which tells me something is wrong with the amp itself.

Anyone ever have this problem before? or have any suggestions. model of amp is KAC-8105D
