Opinions needed

So I'm picking up a 93 ranger reg cab in a few weeks, and I'm throwing around ideas on what to do. I had a buddy with 2 JL's in a box similar to the one I drew up really quick on paint. Would this be a good concept to carry over for sa-8's; or would sub forward, port forward do better? Each sub had its own box, one behind each seat with amp in between the seats. Keep in mind I need all the leg room I can get since Im 6'2''.

There really is no simple answer to this due to all of the variables involved. What are you looking to achieve for sound/response?

It would be very tough to say it will be a good goal or not without any depth to the design as well as dimensions or anything needed to figure for what it can sound like. So, any information on the physics of the design will aid in figuring for a response goal and making sure it will fit,etc.
