I have a used 01 Dakota Club cab I’m trying to make some minor changes to.
I have pulled the Sony HU and replaced it with a Pioneer DEH-980 BT (5V preamps) to meet the handsfree requirement of my DD/service vehicle.
I have pulled the profile 2 way fronts and factory tweets and the factory rears.
I have installed Infinity 6020cs fronts: 2ohm 90w 270peak
Rear fill Infinity 6022i: 2ohm 60w 185peak
And for fun I have done a home made Q-logic style stealth sub enclosure in one side of my cargo tray with an M Class Memphis 8 “: 4ohm SVC 100w 200peak.
I am still on the factory infinity amp but want to change to this (Eclipse X5000A):

I would be setting gains with a test tone and DMM. I was looking to give myself some headroom in case I was creative enough to fit a larger or higher rated sub.
I have consulted with
Crutchfield and they recommend this (Infinity 5350a) due to the ratings of my sub:
