how much would you pay, for a 1991 Toyota Celica Alltrac with 60K miles 2 owners.and mint condition. i dont have any pics of it but its very clean

he wants 8K$ for it. i can get the money for it, but spending that much on a 1991 is a lot. I know its rare and all but still quite a bit for a 91.

i know they are AWD and rally inspired so stating that this car would be good for all weather is a good assumption.

i really shouldnt be spending that kind of money on something that old but whats all you opinions...

i have 0 experience with them...i know its a toyota so it will run for ever...

what are some thing i should look into before buying?

i know all the basics like make sure all the electrical is good, but anything specific?

Well, is it gonna be a daily driver? I love those celicas, they're pretty fun and indeed pretty rare, I think 1800 a year or so were built for the 4 years they were out? Anyway I think the price isn't too bad if it's in mint condition and 60k miles, but I don't know if you'd want it for a Daily driver!

for a celica all-trac, i think 8k is high, even for perfect condition. Kelley Blue Book lists it at $4200 in mint condition with 60k miles. That is Private Party Value, so I definitely would not go above that $4200 value. go to kbb.com and print out the value page to show the guy and tell him you will pay the book value, or just make an offer of $3750 or so.

i mean, fully loaded in perfect condition in Beverly Hills the car is worth $5500. $8k is that dude trying to **** you up the ***. make an offer of around $4k, but before you offer look at it in person and take a long test drive, highway, in town, back roads, hills, etc.

for a 91 the bluebook cant be more than 4k in pristine condition... my sister has a 90' which is the same body style; great little cars if you ask me, rides great however itis a girls car....

8,000 is definitely better spent somewhere else...

if u have $8,000 to shell out, why not move up a few nothces on the "niceness" scale

you can get a great v6 accord/camry for around that price (around a 99-98 year though), they are still pretty quick but get good gas mileage and are reliable. there are plenty of other good choices too

i dont think you understand lol

a 1991 All trac is a VERY RARE car...specially with only 60K miles...KBB doesnt work for cars like this...its kind of like looking up how much a 69 camaro...im sure it says something like 2K $ but we all know its worth a lot more. and having a factory turbo which is bone stock does mean it will last forever...all old sports cars are that way with $...lookin into RX7s MR2's Supra's skylines

etc etc etc...

thank you very much for all your opinions though...its what i asked for and what i got...

im not buying it b.c... i didnt sell my bike in time..and it (celica)actually sold for 7900$

all trac turbo which is rally inspired DOES NOT equal chicks car BTW

lol Ask a TRD forum (TRD = Toyota Racing Development) they will tell you this car is very rare and def. a good buy. For around 8k u could get a modified MR2 .. which is also fun to drive
