Thinking about building a wall in my hatch since its not deep I'm going up. 4 15s or 6 12s. Something cheap and loud for the size. What do you think would be a good choice?
a single 6" seems small for 15'swhat kind of power? that air space would only suffice for sealed for the quantity of woofers you are stating. I have 8 cubes in my hatch and when I start building this summer, I'll have 2 Fi Q 15's in separate chambers (4 cubes each) with a 6" aero port for each. but i'll only have ~2.2-2.5k worth of power for the pair.
pair of hfi 12's for $50 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifYou can pick up 4 SONY Xplode 12's at Walmart for $60 each
1 6" aero port on 4 cubic feet small? I've ran this on several 15" setups with no issues.a single 6" seems small for 15's
pair of hfis are 49.99 shipped most places online and vmi has coupon codes for cheaper. You can pick up 4 SONY Xplode 12's at Walmart for $60 each
Nope, it works well. Daily setups don't need huge amount of port areas. Mine won't have that much square inches per cubic foot ratio.a single 6" seems small for 15's
I'd do 2 15"s if he has 8 cubes net.I'd personally do a single ported 18, and get a good sub instead of buying six cheaper speakers that I'm just going to want to upgrade in a few weeks anyways.
