Okay, my friend asked me to help him build and install a system in his 2000 toyota echo, i spent some time lookin around and found the speaker sizes, 6.5 up front and 6x9 in the back, someone correct me if i'm wrong. His budget is about 500 for everything, but hes willing to spend a lil more if needed. The stuff doesnst need to be purchased right away, but this is what i hav in mind so far...
Headunit - something around $125, doesnt need to play mp3s, but needs an aux so he can hook up his ipod.
Front comps - im thinking either alpine type s comps, or pg zr comps
sub - kicker cvr 12" d2 model
amps - 2 profile california ap600s 100x2 @ 4ohms for comps and 300x1 @ 4ohms bridged for sub
wires and such - i can get from somoene on the forum after i get all the parts.
so what do u guys think? all opinions are accepted as well as suggestions. he likes to listen to rap and hip hop, but occasional instrumentals since he plays alto sax and is majoring in music.
thanks in advance to all those who help =D
