Highs and Mids:

-2 sets of Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75" componets up front

-2 sets of Pioneer TS-D1602R 6.5" 2ways in rear deck

-Powered by MB Quart DSC480

Subs:

-4 RE Audio SEX12D4s (paired wired to 1 ohm on each amp)

-Powered by either

2 MB Quart DSC1500.1Ds or 2 Audiopipe AP18001Ds or 2 Audioque AQ1200Ds

Signal:

-Pioneer HU (haven't decided which model but i won't use any other brand)

-Clarion EQS746 7 band equalizer

-Rockford Fosgate RFIT-16 dual twisted RCAs to transfer signal

Electrical:

-250A altenator

-Kienetik HC 1800

-Of course BIG 3 with 0ga and 0ga for all power and grounds (4ga from battery to highs amp)

This is going in my buddy's mid to late 90's caddilac deville, i don't remember the exact year, but he wants to his system to beat harder than his lil brothers caprice which has 4 Power Acoustik P3 12s pushed by Power Acoustik 5500w Gothic series amp which to my suprise beats pretty **** hard but SQ is **** (this system was put togther by another guy that i had to fix some wiring issues that dude had messed up but thats for another thread cause it still has a couple issues). I'm still a relative noob so i have a couple of questions:

-Which of the three amps (DSC1500.1D, AP18001D, AQ1200D) would be best for these subs or if i can get him to spend the extra $250 would it be worth it to put a RF T2000bd on them?

-Any suggestions on a decent active xover?

-Any suggestion on box size i know i can fit 8 cubes in his trunk easily maybe up to 10 cubes if i play with the shape a bit?

-Any other suggestion to improve on system Highs mids or lows, while stay in the relative price range?

-And i an going to put this same system in my 82 regal and was wondering if these subs would hold up to a Rockford Fosgate T25001bd?

Thanks in advance for any help/input/opinions

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
