opinion on these subs

Hey guys. Saw these subs for sale locally and was wondering what people thought of them. They're in a sealed enclosure and are 2 ohm dvc. I was looking to see if anyone knew the model of the subs and if anyone had experience with them. Thanks in advance. 2 12" Eclipse Subs

First off this shouldnt be in wiring and electrical... they appear to be the 8812 model or older. there not the last model 6210's ( i have one). There definately not titaniums either. 175 for 2 in a box is a good deal. id still offer him 150 cash and its a great deal assuming they work fine. They have good sq, and if you do them ported they can get pretty loud and still sound good.

I agree, the older eclipse have good SQ, had a buddy who used to run them. AND they are becoming rare since eclipse stopped marketing to the US last I heard

not sure what your getting at here... why would you not offer lower. who cares if he gets pissed or doesnt respond, its about getting the best value you can. I do craigslist ads alot, even if i say firm it would be a waste of my emotions to get pissed at someone for lowballing me.... its the name of the game.

My dad and I have ran off a few people who came long distances just to waste our time and low ball throughout the years. Those are some of the worst ******* pics I've ever seen. my 4 year old cell phone can take better pics than that good god....

Anyways, people seem to be generally pleased with the Eclipse subs. Like the others said, I'd ask for a pic of the subs out of the box, so you can see the condition of it. Preferably a discernible picture.

There's a difference between haggling for a good deal, and lowballing. lowballing is disrespectful, and this is already a real good deal. The guy is not in any rush to sell or get cash, and just seems to have no use for them, I would imagine him sticking to the $175.
