Amp/sub wiring question....

ok heres my problem...my sub is 1 ohm dvc and im running it with an audiopipe 3000d. from the booklet this is what i get:

Amp booklet says 3000 watts at 2ohm. 1500x2 at 1ohm, it internally creates a 2ohm load from the dual 1ohm setup?

so what i am asking is do i need to wire my sub to 2 ohms or can i actually just run each voice coil to the amp?

I would just series the voice coils and run it bridged on the amp at 2 ohms....
