I just ordered a NXD3500.1 from a vendor. I was curious if anyone else has any experience with this lineI was not impressed with what I was being pushed at local shop in the Phantom and AAR lines but the numbers look decent and what is harm in 94 bucks. I really wanted something "nice" but limited budget ie zero dolllars I decided to chance it.I'm gonna be pushing 2 SD-2 D4's I was thinking of running at 4 ohms to start supposedly the amp is 1500w RMS at 4 ohm. well see

Be lucky to see 1500 at 1 ohm.I'd say its realistically an 800 watt amp.Never seen a Boss amp do anywhere close to rated.Good luck.Has a fuse rating of 30x2...ouch!

well see Im not trying to say this is a end all be all amp but I saw it in a store looked better built than most other Boss Amps and if it doesnt cut it after I get back to work and take care of other car needs that are a lil more pressing than amp for subs ill sell to a guy around here that wants big number on case but not care if actually get. I'm just curious since Ive never really seen anyone mention these at all. Its always the lower if it get lower modelsor lines i guess.

well I have too But I just had a BRZ 1700 smoke on me so I just needed something quick n in a budget that i could get buddy to pay for . I was a little bit optomistic when I noticed that it ses a lug that acepts 1/0 instead of there normal terminal strip power/ground connects. Hell athis point if it burns please take rest of car thats all i ask Dont burn up and do nothing for me.

Looks better built? Did you see the guts? Boss blows, plain and simple. Its for people who have no idea of anything about car audio or where to get it. And if you smoked your brz maybe you should look at the big picture. Save the money, buy something used for a little more, hell even chip in a few bucks more and go AP or sumn.

60 amps of fusing and 1500 watts at 4 ohms....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsdown.gif.d22f25895e9b40f2300c953691dacfa2.gif

Look I was simply asking opinions I intend to do my build with better equipment once I get the more important stuff I need paid off ike house car but for a quick fix to unexpected problem i couldnt be choosy. I was looking at the AP stuff but since im not running 16volts I wasnt impressed. I would have done a better amp if i could have but at moment $100 was about what I had to use.

I know its minor dif but its actually 80 Amps but I hear ya. I was just trying to see if 1 person thought it was a decent temp amp. But so far I have only recieved neg which is what I was thinking including myself but HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY SEEN OR USED ONE is what I was really asking. And where were all the suggestions in my post in WTB.

saddens me to say... but you should've went audiopipe...

i had the ph1500.1 , i got 642w at 2ohm, not 1 ohm stable, and that was dirty, maxed out, and ran hottt!!! boss isn't made for quality, its made flashy to catch the attention of kids who like to hear those big numbers! [but will never see them]

just watched a vid of a BOSS 1200watt amp on the bench....it was rated:

230rms x2 @ 4ohm and 1200 x1 @ 4ohms bridged

Actual Output:

51rms x2 @ 4ohms and 174rms x1 @ 4ohms bridged

I would not have bought that amp, there's good reason it was so cheap... You would have been better off with an AP or an AP knock-off, and that is just sad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
