Rockford Fosgate P500X4D Amp?

Anyone had a chance to take a look at this or review it? I just ordered mine for $165 after discount from an authorized dealer (likely because it has been discontinued). From my experience, Rockford Punch amps are awesome, and this 4 channel amp is a heck of a buy at that price. I haven't seen many reviews on this unit, but the few reviews that I have seen, not a single bad one.

Anyone else have this unit, any experience, birth sheets?

Speakers I am looking to power this with are some Alpine Type-R 6.5 (SPR-60C) Comp in the Front and 6x9 (SPR-69) in the rear. I have a pending purchase meeting someone locally those two speaker sets brand new with warranty for $200. The downfall is he is I have to drive an 1-1.5 hours to get to him so wont be able to until Saturday.

It should do fine I didn't know they discontinued that amp but its likely because it competes against the regular pinch amps and that lightning audio (owned by fosgate) has the exact same amp

I have owned multiple amps through RF, and they were all fantastic amps, ran one at 100% for over 5 years, never overheated, or barely got warm. Although I have never owned any amp over 2 channels for them, so this will be a bit different. Unfortunately I wont get around to making a setup for probably 3-4 weeks as I am still pending on the purchase of the speakers and head unit until this weekend. Once I get the amp in though, I can upload/post pics if anyone is interested.

So just got the unit in, and Birth sheet shows 651 total RMS from 440 total rated. It will be the next few weeks before I get everything together and get it all hooked up. Once I get everything, it is likely to take a whole day to do it, if not 2 days since i will likely remove the bose wiring from the car. Those who don't know my car, which is an 05 Nissan Altima w/ Bose, the system is integrated into an amp in the rear, which is almost a decent system for someone who doesn't care about listening to music over a 10 volume on the factory. Anyone interested in pics of the unit?

I actually is running the p1000x4d, bought it for $207 (using a coupon) The amp is installed running 500x2 @ 4ohms running 4 8ohm speakers and the amp is awesome and never gets hot
