Well with two stroker pros your going to be quite a bit past 125 dB; sounds to me like you're going for more of a SQ (sound quality) system, especially taking into account the music you listen to. That being said, I really have no expertise in that area so I can't recommend too many SQ subwoofers.

Then I would suggest not quite so much SPL firepower. The Stroker Pro is an absolute monster sub - but I would not recommend something like that for pure sound quality. It's quite a killer machine, but more geared to the SPL and street-beating crowd.

Some of the high-end lines from Tymphany (Peerless, Scan-Speak) or Seas might suit your needs a bit more. Or an Image Dynamics IDQ series. Those brands are great for low, accurate bass in a sealed enclosure. They focus more on accuracy, not so much SPL.

No flame intended, just my 2 cents.

You and me both, Power Turd. So - competing AND going after an SQ install all in one? The difficulties in that are great and many and stuff. But, if that is the case, Precisely might be better off with a pair of Si Mags for the low end.

first, stfu with the word "precisely", you say it every 2 lines.

Secondly, what is your objective? It seems a bit confusing now that you're saying you're not trying to impress, which is all a competition is really.

Finally, since you're a new member, check out the Search button. There's a LOT of info on these boards, sometimes it just takes a little persistence to find though.

Good luck.

first of all...if you knew what you were talking about in the FIRST place...you'd know that this sub wouldnt move with 1000 watts.... My friend had on 15"...he was runnin it with 3500 watts daily....yes he's an idiot and used it as an every day sub...which it really isnt MADE for that..but it can do it.

OK, objectively: I do not owe you an explanation. Anyone else who is interested with my idea, I'll be happy to let you know. I have said it before, this is a conceptual process, and I am putting the money (not including a mortgage from what I understand) into this; PURELY for business reputation. Write it off and so forth. I like the ideas thrown out, and please keep them coming.

Precisely... Saying it every two lines...

So if this is strictly for business rep. then apparently you are doing this to impress people. Now if you want 2 stroker Pro's and have the $ I say get them. They are wicked subs, as already stated geared for SPL Purposes. 2nd thing you need after money is space, since you have a Trailblazer you apparently have the space, but how much of it are you willing to sacrifice. I would say you will need a solid 7 cubes gross (meaning after you factor in port and sub displacement you would be around 5-6 cubes net but total 7+ cubes). Next you will need power (not just amps) to get those jewels going you will want at MINIMUM 2k rms per sub (4000 watts RMS). By not just amps I mean you have to supply an amp(s) that size somehow. That stock Trailblazer alt will NOT cut it. You will need to look into a high output alt. (the biggest you can get for your vehicle I would say at least 240amp at very very minimum). Then you will need wire big enough to handle that much current I would use 2/0 if I were you. You need to do the big 3 with at least 2/0 IMO. If you have all of that Lastly and perhaps most important you will need the KNOWLEDGE to pull a system of this caliber off. FYI a system like this is EASILY capable of 150DB+ IMO, so the 125+ DB statement you made is definately understated. There will be a lot of MONEY, TIME and THINKING will be unavoidable. It is up to you, you could get something better suited for you for MUCH less Money, but that is your call.
