Meh, it's only "hard" because no one wants to work to get loud anymore..they just want to use what everyone else has already done and cram on more power thinking they are cool. lol

He has Miles building his enclosures. So I'm not sure how much help he would actually be at contributing to "getting loud".

The enclosures miles built were fairly straight forward bass reflex designs with the exception of the new 4th order which was a little more in depth, but nothing that would help the OP with his 15.

All the designs/enclosures did work very well though. Miles is on here and posts some times as well.

first off ears hurting is a sign of clipping.

second change amps. dont waste your time strapping them.

also what electrical do you have.

@g6ryder; IAD is a great brand. PAP built in america. Under 200$. grossly underrated at 1k. what more could you ask for? oh did i mention 3'' coil?

how does clipping make your ears hurt? the loudness it what makes my ears hurt. i def. dont think its clipping as the gain is a little over a quarter, bass is also on negative 1 and i cut the volume up to maybe 75%. it does not sound distorted at all, and my electrical is stock with 2 extra batts. but working on a h.o. alt now.

ive sat in 55+ cars sealed. ears never hurt. When your ears are fed a clipped signal they will hurt. @keep_hope_alive; told me about it at one time. when i thought i was cool from my ears hurting lol

oh ill have to check into that then. but if thats the case then all the youtube videos of people jumping out of cars from them being so loud means they are distorting as well? like steve meade ect?

dude it takes ALOT to make pain. ive had people bail from mine. its not pain. its the fact that the pressure has no where to go so it goes in your lungs. 80% of tapouts are caused by that or just too loud for them. does it hurt? no.

First off from my experience it's very hard to fit a proper enclosure in a g6 trunk for a 15". I would say try sub and port back or sub back port to side has worked well for me as really as well. My 4th order is great as well but I can tell you, you do my have the space for a 4th order with that driver. I believe the loudest I've metered to date was 143.xx @33htz sub back and port drivers side. Hit Up @pro-rabbit and get him to see what design he can come up with
