one or two amps???...i need to know!!!

i got a type-r 12 and im gonna get another tomorrow....and have them put in a pre-fab'd box....i kno i kno bad idea, im gonna hate it, blah blah...but im on a tight f'n budget...and its only 40 bucks with bestbuy discount

anyway questions is will the alpine MRP-M1000 power both 12's sufficiently...i will be beyond pissed if they arent bumping the way i want.....should i get two of those amps or is one enuff?

and whether its two or one of those amps will i have to have an additional battery?....cant i just buy a better battery for under the hood?

my setup will be

6.5 type-r's in front doors

6x9 type-r's in the rear deck

2 12inch type-r subs

kac-720 kenwood 4channel amp for the speakers

and either one or two mrp-m1000 for the subs..

any thoughts?

they are 4 ohm type-rs by the way also

the mrp-m1000 does 600rms at 4ohm

i know the type-r 12's r great subs but if i connect them both to that one amp thats only 300rms per sub.....and thats some old bull shit lol

unless im wrong?

so maybe 2 of them is the way to go?

if theyre dual 4 ohm subs and youre getting 2 of them, id get 1000 watts at 1 ohm

wait im confused....i never understood how amps work when it comes to subs...i thought that if the sub is dual 4ohm then the amp will give you the power it can from it at 4ohm.....how does showing me an amp at 4ohm put out 510rms help?

if you have 1 sub and its a dual 4 ohm driver, i will have a final impdance of 2 or 8 ohms

if you have 1 sub and its a dual 2 ohm driver, i will have a final impedance of 1 or 4 ohms

idskot....o my bad lol...but even with that in mind...im new to all the custom and self work when it comes to car audio...i just buy all the equipment and get the best shop i can find to hook it all up
