One-off eD spl sub

The speaker does not need to be inverse mounted.
The motor structure is not that large.

As was mentioned, its a modified 4hp motor, which might be more valuable to some guys, if the auction cost doesnt skyrocket.

waht is different in the motor, besides an extra slug? i am curious..

I honestly do not know.

The 12Q was before my time with the company.

My guess is that if it was called a "paper weight" was due to the fact it would not have been cheap, 4" coil with high inductance, more SPL oriented, which is not the group we try and market to.

It was a one off product that was kept in the companies personal collection, until we had no need for it.

Its more of a conversation peice for collectors of rare speakers.

Flat cone 4hp.....you wont see another one of those floating around.

I was a customer from back in the SIN days.

I know all the past, im not here to talk about that.

I just wanted to jump in and correct any false information about mounting the speaker and got exactly what I expected,Im just gonna leave.

I thought I would hop in and help, im not sure what a 4hp motor goes for, but if it went cheap enough, I thought someone could use it.

I remember that thing.

That is besides the aforementioned weakness of the cone and the cone attachment method.

Would be fun to grab the motor if it doesn't go too high and make something interesting that is actually useful with it, though.

I wouldn't give ED such a hard time for it... they didn't release it, and for good reason, at least they knew it wouldn't work out!

the subs looks good...looks just like my subs i just got..but i have a 3hp motor on it..and mines was made from tc sounds

but that sub has a 4hp motor wth a extra slug

i say that sub can take 5k tops for daily 10k for burps
