One more big 3 question

Ok I went out and got some more 4 ga wire to do my big 3 upgrade and I was gonna buy ring terminals(lugs) and not sure of the size I need.

I know they need to be 4ga but I am interested in the hole size of the ring?

1/4" or 3/8" holes?

I was thinking the alt + is gonna need a 1/4 and the battery will need a 3/8 and i can use 3/8 on both ends of - to chassis ground and most likely 1/4 at the - on the alt and a 3/8 for attaching to engine block.

does this sound correct to you all?

sorry I'm just another noob who's lights dim just a bit on big bass notes!

Also will a 100 amp fuse be sufficent for 4 ga wire?

Ok I have a viper d300.1 amp and the owners manual says the dual + and - subout terminals of the d300.1 are paralleled internally and the combined load impedance should be taken into consideration when connecting multiple subwoofers

What exactly does this mean?

Says amp is a 1 channel cladd mono sub amp .

So why do I have what seems to be 2 channels for a 1 channel amp?

Also is there any other ways I could make the sub connections?

I have 2 subs connected with the right side + going to the right side + on the amp and the right - going to the right - on the amp .

the left side + is conected to the + on the amp and the - is connected to the - on the amp.

4guage to do big3...

Do the Big 3 in 1/0 man, there will be much more results.

if you can afford it.. get 1/0awg. Use all of the same crimp rings, you dont need to split them up. If its too big of a hole.. get a washer. If it's not big enough, drill it out a bit. 4awg is hardly going to help at all. go big or go home. Use a 250-350 fuse for 1/0awg and a 100-150 for 4awg.

I already have the 4 ga and I intend to use it because my system will not be getting any bigger
