on a scale of 1 to bad how bad is this?

OP,
What amp are you running? From the looks of the melted fuse block, it looks like a 50A Mini-ANL (red).

Check your connections to the batt and ground.
my amp is an audioque1200d i'm using whatever fuse came with the wiring kitt. i think the ground is fine i'll take pictures of it if you want but i'm going to take my whole power wire out since i'm afraid of it lighting my car on fire

change the whole wire to better wire .the cadence cca wire is not good ,i've been seeing this alot from their wire
This is an install issue not a wire failure. I have used their CCA in many situations for clients on a budget and seen nothing close to this.
This is typical of poor connections though.
^This I had 2 runs of Cadence 1/0 (blue wire) and NEVER had issues with it
I just finished rewiring my car though Audio Technix though so I'm excited.

*edit* just saw they we're metric screws not something used with rings

probably had too long of wire sticking out.
Right >>>>>
i just quoted everyone in here to see everyone's opinion on this ground is it good or ******?

It looks like your grounded it to plastic...that is a horrible ground.
You need bare metal that connects to the frame, not plastic.
ah great looks like i'll never have the same guy do anything to my car again. what would a better place be without having to add a new bolt? the car is a 2003 mustang

Yeah idk what your friend is doing or how hes working at a shop now. Pretty much any bare metal area that connects to the frame will work.

Find a bolt on bare metal. The Chassis preferably if you can get to it, and sand down a small patch of paint under and around the bolt. Put the ground on that and then use spray paint or whatever to cover it up after it is secure so you don't get any rust or corrosion.
