Old AudioControl in dash meter for epi----157.1 -- I KNOW thats kinda exagerrated

my single type R 12 hit 137.9 on music in a box tuned to 32hz, so 140 is not a stretch for (2) 12's, even Pyle. cheap subs can get just as loud as a quality sub, but can they get that loud without seeing magic smoke in a month, making them more expensive over the bigger picture.

And they been going strong for 8 months now thank you.

I know yall hate stuff like this, so do I. But, we can't all pounce on the cheaper lines. There are alot of folks that have BILLS, and dont live with Mommy. As do I, and there is no way that I can enjoy electricity and food AND 500dollar subs.

I do not run Pyle in my happy car, but for my work truck--it is fine. For the price that I paid for them, they are 1st rate.

Yall should really think about something- if you want more members, and want the ones you have now to be more comfortable; you should be more tolerant of low dollar setups. There arent any SQ comps around here, and most street bets are judged by seat-of-pants or coke test. We are a poor area, and I am poorest of all. It is all I can do to pay my bills and buy seed/fertilizer for the next season. Alot of people are in my economic trouble--and wouldn't it be nice if CA.com catered to the poor people who get no love anywhere else?

So you think we dislike this driver only because its cheap? So if it cost $100 or more you think we'd like it more? Maybe you should find another website, if you really think that of us here.

Well ladies,

I cant do video--as I do not own a camera of any type, best for me to not have any pics of anything. The meter came from a shop in Nashville on loan to a friend of my wife's family. And if anyone lives close, I will be glad to come see you......

And as far as leaving this site- I have went for many years without being required to listen to people like you, and can easily go the same number in the future. You do not pay my bills, or hook me up with free gonzo gg audio gear, so SHHHHH.

I have debts and a family, unlike you youngsters that have your father pay for all, and sit back with 2 Wal-Mart Sonys and jerk off while you tell people about your "OMG 750each 9millionwrms subs in a turtle's ass"

I will check this crap periodically, to see if any of you are interested in a personal visit to witness this. Other than that, thank you for showing me just another car audio site that only cares about sponsors.

And again as far as price goes, I've personally seen a great build of trash DESTROY hi-dollar sets simply because of poor design.

I received 2 of the 12's as a partial payment on a $30 debt that was owed me.

You made out better than I did. I had someone who owed me $500 and all I got out of him was a Linear Power 150z and an Orion HCCA 225 G5. It had been close to a year, and I was getting ready to take him to small claims court but I "heard" he was filing for bankruptcy. I decided to cut my losses and take him up on the amps he was running in his Tahoe. I figured 2 amps was better than not getting anything at all!

Thats not true at all. Some teenagers pay for everything them selfs. The only thing I dont pay for myself is my home. Then we bring the equipment into this. I was all for cheap equipment at one point in time, but now I notice buying two cheap subs is just as much as one decent sub.Thrid problem you have going here is most people here hate sony xplodes and most of us know what RMS is. rock on i love how people trash a product that they have never even tried. if you didnt own it beat on it and put it through hell and back that what you are speaking is total ******** and you have no idea what you are talking about. why cant people just say i h,ave never used them therefore i cannot form an opinion. and for the most part you can put a cheap sub in a good box and blow that top dollar sub out of the water if you know what your doin? its all about expierence that is how we all learn . keep bumpin those pyles **** i have owned prolly 50 differnt subwoofers in my day all from kicker re audio rockford mtx alpine audiopipe pyle pyramid kenwood audioque, i will try out just about any sub you put in front of me guys cuz hey, isnt that what this is all about? this is our hobby /addiction we mess around with electronics of all sorts we are not some snotty rich guys bragging about our expensive products our we? dont be that guy! in any event keep beatin on them squares boy your alright in my book

Im sure the OP would have appreciated the support more 2 years ago, when this discussion was current. He may have died of cancer by now.

And I love the apples to oranges comparison people like to make on product quality versus install. Sure, put a high quality product in an absolutely failed install, and compete against a mediocre product in an amazing install, and the mediocre product coming out on top isn't a big surprise. But Im always curious why people think a person would do a shitty install if they buy the high end sub, but will take the time to do an amazing install if they buy a Pyle sub. Stacking the deck to give one side of a comparison an artificial advantage, and then trying to make the comparison, is no real comparison at all.

i love how we feel the need to put other people down what is this high school ? if somebody likes a product more power to him . why do we feel the need to put other people down. dont be an internet tough guy serious. we all have the same hobby we dont need to put other peoples opinions down. if somebody is coming in here for advice lets be nice and help them not put them down and make fun of him. not everybody has alot of money. we are here to talk about audio and our expierences and to learn . you guys have never bought a cheap sub and beat the piss out of it just for fun come on thats what this is all about man messin with cheap products good products and high end products thats are hobby. treat others like you want to be treated
