OMFG noise violation???

About 2 years ago a cop pulled me over cause I was listening to stock speakers 3/4 the way up.

He told me he "felt" the bass when I was at the light which is a good 500ft away from where he was hiding. I laughed and said I wish I could do that with stock speakers and told him I don't have a system. He didnt care and I got a ticket.

But he was dumb enough and wrote excess sound. I was like WTF and was almost gonna correct him but didn't. Judge gave me a warning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I love dumb cops

I'd fight it and at court be smart and say I'm sure he didn't have his TL running at the moment and the mic in the kick panel so technically you have no proof how loud(DB wise) it was.

If you dont win, be a dick and call the cops on him for different reasons.

Um no its just like a traffic violation. No court fees... well shouldn't be any fee's. Here in GA there is no court fees for things like that. Also If I were to fight it, My main argument is simply this. At what point does loud music cross with problems with neighbors. Did they document the system you had at the time? You ask simply this, If you *assuming at the time you had no sub at all) have just a factory system how was he able to hear you inside his home? If my subs are off even with the windows down my 2 sets of components the extra set of tweeters and the extra full range of 6.5's in pods aren't loud enough to bother my next door neighbors 1 year old when he sleeps. I've had problems with the XXX waking him up but still. I work on the truck with the radio on. and when I cut the sub off I listen to it almost full tilt maybe 90% up and have had 0 problems. They can't prove you were " thumping " so....

did the cop look at your system?? if not, go to a friends house and take ur subs/amps out the day before court.. hide all wires and explain you do not have anything except stock

you will lose considering your amazing track record with the law.

just try and lay low for awhile and dont piss your neighbor off. once the cops know you to be a nuisance they will treat you as one. i know because i too was in trouble with the law when i was young. got caught selling at school (someone ratted) and every week for the rest of highschool my locker was part of the "random" drug searches

its cause HR cops dont have any better to do lol. denver are the worst when i was younger i got a few of these tickets in downtown denver, funny thing is the systems were total crap comared to what i run these days not that loud. cops will do what they want and when you goto court they will drop offense but your still gonna pay a fine no matter what.

dat green sticky the first time. then the next two were fightin i got 2nd degree battery, it was a felony:crap://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but it got dropped. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif just got a misdemeanor, but still 3 months in juvi. but way better then a felony!!
Wow seems as though your life is going on the right path.

I get ordinance tickets all the time.. part of having a loud daily setup.
Then how have they not pulled your sh!t then??? Sense we're both from Lafayette, IN... Brian Baker pulled me over a few years ago and gave me a $75 ticket for having my stereo to loud, and he was an ass, and proceeded to tell me that the first violation is $75, 2nd $125, 3rd $150 and they will confiscate the stereo. I confirmed that w/my neighbor, Perry Amos- also a cop. If you went to Jeff H.S. then you should know Perry.

Not calling you a liar, just wondering that's all.

i have all stock speakers an my HU turned up like 1/2. i park my car an my neighbor comes out an says i just called the cops i've warned u b4. i was like is that a fuuckiing joke its 7 on a friday an we fought for like 10 mins then the cops come and write me a fuuckiing ticket for noise violation. fuuking bull sh!t right!?!?!?!
he warned you.
