Older Pioneer Subs

Okay for my car my dad is giving me his old systeme from about 10 15 years ago, when he bought all of it it was 2200, But i was looking at it and it has two 400 watt Pioneer Subs and the Amp that he said he used to power them is only 160 watts, 40x4 or sumthing like that.

Should i buy a bigger amp? or is this one enough i know it wont be running on peak performance but i want it to still be pretty loud.

post pics of all the old school stuff so we will know exactly what your working with....there are several members including myself that are into old school car audio....that can give you some helpful advice

okay ill get pics up asap. The thing that sucks is my dad had most of the systeme in his truck but some one broke in a stole the mids and the tweaters and another smaller amp.
