i have an 88' ford clubwagon and i dont know which cd player to buy because i dont want to buy it and have it not fit...any help would be much appreciated

any cd player will fit with the kit from walmart

i dont care if it fits, ill just cut the dash if i really have to....i need to figure out what will work with the wiring of the vehicle

No cd player will just plug right into it. Never ever ever ever. Thats what wiring kits are for that they sell at alot of elctronics store.

In fact, you might have to plan on doing some rewiring, harness or no harness. An '88 Ford van is very likely to have a common-ground speaker system. You'll either need a common-ground to floating-ground adapter (which will eliminate the high power benefits of the head unit) or you'll need to run new speaker wire.
