Old Type X components

I wanted X's so bad, but got the Type-R's instead, I now regret it. While the R's are decent, I heard X's and just was amazed at the accuracy.

Didnt even notice the 1st post that you were looking at the Polyglass line

Yea those are really really nice speakers and sound great!!

i dont think you could go wrong with either lol

I still have a set of the 177A's still in the box. I plan on installing them within the next couple of months.

The question is...should I sell them and get the 177R's? Is there any difference aside from the crossover design? Is it worth spending the $ to upgrade to the 177R?

Eh, probably not worth it too much. What probably would be worth it if you were to spend the money on the new SPX-17Pro's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It definitely would be worth it if you were to spend your money and ship them to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Thanks for the info; now it's time to figure out where to put those mondo crossovers!
