Old Type X components

I was wondering if the old Type X components are any good. I want to know if i should go with these or Focal Polyglass 165V2 components. Any help would be cool.

The 177A or the 177R? not that there's a whole lot of difference....

I run them and love them. They are not a very aggressive sounding speaker set. Just... accurate above all else.

I wanted X's so bad, but got the Type-R's instead, I now regret it. While the R's are decent, I heard X's and just was amazed at the accuracy.

Ive heard all the lines, what do u want to know about them?? They are really nice speakers and sound amazing!!

I still have a set of the 177A's still in the box. I plan on installing them within the next couple of months.

The question is...should I sell them and get the 177R's? Is there any difference aside from the crossover design? Is it worth spending the $ to upgrade to the 177R?
