A 1978 Challenger w/ 2 15" Kicker comps pushed by an Autotek 7150 and you'll love this a Sparkomatic EQ and jensen H.U. I was 16 at the time and spent all my money in the speakers and was left broke ,so i went cheap on everything else and was prob a year later before i could get those kickers kicking!!

1981 pontiac pheonix (bonus points for anyone who remembers that car!) kenwood cd, a hifonics 50 x 2 (vulcan i think?) pushing 13(!) speakers. some lanzar crap, atomic subs (remember those?) and a whole 'lotta passive crossovers.... it was a wiring nightmare!!!

Muntz Stereophonic. Wow, now I know I'm getting old. Right up there with learjet sound, and wards airline.

Just so you know that I know, the 4-track had a wheel that popped up when you shoved the "tape" in, and the 8-track didn't. that goes back afew years!!!!!

Okay this may sound a little crazy. But the way everybody is talking about the 8 tracks brought something to mind. I did an install for a friend's jeep. We mounted the head unit in the center console. And put an am 8 track deck in the dash. Happy to say (I think?) that I have a home 8 track setup as well as oen for a car too. Both still work perfect. Even have a good number of 8 track tapes yet.
