Old style XXX vs. New style XXX ???

I had to do it, just made it easier to interpet. Plus, its the only constructive way I could contrubute to this thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Maybe this seems unfriendly, but if you have the time to type that all out, you have the time to put it in paragraph form. Hitting enter once in a while isn't much of a time consuming process. If you dont have time to make it easy to read, many of us wont give the extra time necessary to interpret it. You want our help, make it as easy for us to help you as possible, that's not too much to ask.

and the old XXX did have a dustcap....first one had the **** cone (Obvious dustcap) the next style just had a really big dustcap so you could not see the cone when sub was mounted

People..... seriously. Are there that many people on this forum that are bored enough that they only comment on grammar and such? I am not speaking in heiroglyphics or ebonics! Am I crazy to believe that my writing shouldn't be heavily criticized? Is it really that terrible that my original post deserves to be ignored? The funny part is that the people that post that waste of bandwidth and time have thousands of posts. Does that mean that they are actually wasting that much of their lives complaining about grammar?

I was doing some reading and saw that the critical mass ul12 is supposed to be pretty nice (although pricey). If I found a used one of those for a decent deal, would it be a good investment? If you have heard one, could you please let me know what you thought? I am assuming that it would sound nice, but how is the spl output? I prefer a low tuned ported enclosure. I do not like the sound of sealed enclosures. Could this sub work well in my preferred setup? Thanks!

P.S. Thanks for the info on the really big dust cap.

You are the one who keeps dragging this out with excuses. You are obviously referring to me. I guess my comments about trying to help you create a post people are more willing to respond to fell on deaf ears. Now, you can either keep playing this little martyr routine, or YOU can take it as constructive criticism and move on. The choice is yours.
There was a thread on thsi exact same subject, new XXX vs old one, approx one week ago. A quick search will reveal plenty of info on the subject.
