Old school Clif Designs component sets. 1 6.5, 1 5 1/4 With extra tweeters, 6.5 driver and crossovers

Item(s) Description/Condition:

These items are old. I do not know the model number or anything, so have no idea the specs or when they were made. Cosmetically, they are rough to say the least. They do function properly and sounded good in my test box on the bench. It was an impulse buy several years ago that I never got around to installing in anything. Need them gone. Will consider trades, but money always speaks loudest.

Price:

Lets start with $100, but willing to entertain offers. Note I said offers. That doesnt mean ask me what my rock bottom is.

not sure if I am reading it wrong but it looks like you are saying you have a pair of 6.5 a pair of 5.25 extra tweets and maybe some extra 6.5 also? only asking as I only see 3 speakers and 2 tweets in the pics

You are correct. Total of: 3 - 6.5 mids, 2 5.25 mids, 5 crossovers and 6 tweeters. Honestly, not in the pics because at the time, they were still packed away in storage. I can retrieve them and post pics if you wish or if it's the "proper" thing to do.

Probably is the right thing to do but I was just curious. How long have tjey been packed away and when was tbe last time you tested them? Also is the surround rubber? Any tears or rips? Is the cone messed up at all? How would tjey look installed? What kind of power were you sending them?

I purchased them probably 5 years ago or so. Ran 80 watts to them... ironically off the MB Quart amp I also have for sale. Played them for about half an hour then boxed them up. I like things that are obscure and different, which is why I bought them in the first place. They look good installed. The grills are beat up and will need painted and the dings and dents taken out. Most of the cosmetic stuff is on the magnet and rear basket. There are a few spots where the paint is chipped off the basket mounting ring. The surrounds, I believe are rubber and cones are paper with rubber dustcap. The cone, surround and dustcaps are all in great condition... no tears or creases or cracks. If the cones or surrounds were bad, I probably wouldnt even have them on here.

Yeah I meant jist the speakers wheb you get pics of them all we can work somethibg out. I want to see thw terminals and the cones since the cones will be showing. 4ohm?

When I ship speakers, I wire tie the baskets together, cone facing cone then pack with bubble wrap. Ill get the pics in an hour or so and will post
