old school amps ftw

Well I just kinda figured that Older Amps wouldn't be able to produce enough power or the correct frequencies to power modern speakers correctly, and stuff like that.

I have and always will use old school amps..I love all my Autoteks-Mean Machines,BTS series,Hifonic VII,VIII series,just about all my Alpine DUO-b series amps.15 plus years ,and still performing flawlessly?? Thanks to all ZED amps,and real USA made amps,and the introduction of the real car audio world!!!Thumbs up to the man STEVE MANTZ!!!!!!!Subs/speakers??Trial an error..IMO,,,Head units??Its what you want these days ,and functions???But bar nun...Old school amps-44watts pushing a pair of 600rms 15s at a 2ohm load,and with AUTHORITY???Yes sir..old school indeed!! Ill put money on it that you will not find an amp on the todays market at that wattage that will do that?????You will need to open up that wallet and start digging

I discussed powr (and most of your other questions) back in post #6 of this thread.

As for frequencies, humans still listen to the same frequencies they always have, so amps of today aren't required to play any different frequencies than they did 20 years ago.

I prefer something thats unique at the same time a quality piece. There is a reason I run an Audio Systems Twister F6 and an Audiomobile Evo.
