i have sold on
ebay for over 4 years takeing only a u.s postal money orders for my items . i use to use paypal ,till one day i bought something for $800 and the guy sent me some junk. not even the item i bought, and paypal closed my dispute after the guy sent paypal the tracking # for the box of junk. paypal wouldn't even accept the pictures i had of the crap he sent me , and how i didn't get what i payed for.
i then by doing searches on the net found out how easy it was for crooks to cheat people useing paypal, and how paypal does not live up to there protection policy, like they say they do. you might do well doing a search and finding out yourselves
anyways, a few months back,
ebay bought paypal out and just last month is inforceing good sellers and everyone to have a paypal opt on there listings. don't mater how long you been selling without paypal or how good your feedback is.
i feel this is very wrong. i am a honest person and send my items out when they are payed for i just hate paypal for what they didn't do for me, and will never use them again . so i am looking for a new place to sell my hi end car audio items besides its not fair to have to pay a full 8% just to sell on
ebay now they just keep loseing good sellers because they keep adding these stupid policys many like me have left
ebay and i am sure this site will be seeing alot more of us sell our items here and other places please do not ask to pay with paypal i will never do business with them again i like u.s postal money orders they are much safer for the seller and the buyer
seller----- if you dn't get you item you bought with a u.s postal money order you can file a mail fraud with the postmaster this is aginst the law and that seller could do jail time
buyer--- if the buyer pays with a phoney postal money order its like counterfit moneies and the us goverment goes after them and can do jail time for it
this is far safer then any other way to pay over the net except by a credit card
