Cleaning out the garage and found several bins of old stuff from my car audio days. These are all at least 10 years old since that's the last time I worked at a shop. Knowing that, I have to sell everything as is. However for those that know me I'm not only a pack rat, I'm a packing rat- everything came out of newspaper and bubble wrap to keep it in as good of condition as I could.

1. Alpine 8046 $50: old school alarm, this is the one that has the radar sensor on it so it was made for convertibles. Of course you can use it for any car. If you can find the old school pager this has the output for that as well.

2. Lot of Phoenix Gold RCA connectors for custom cable makers $50 for all: I have (10) pairs of PROXS and (11) pairs of unknown model, higher quality PHG RCA ends that have a bigger hole. From what I remember, the PROXS was used for the old blue PHG RCA wiring. The gunmetal ends were used for a thicker cable.

3. Coustic DA-55 $20: DA Converter for those running the Coustic systems back in the day. Since I don't have the "other side" I absolutely cannot use this. Can someone else?

4. MB Quart reference 5" coax: These were from the Reference line from when (10 years ago) Reference was still the higher end line from MBQ, pre-Q. I had a PPI A200 powering the mids and a PPI A200 powering the tweets actively, so I do not have the crossovers for these. They ended up in my brother's car so I do not know the condition of the tweets.

5. Crystal 6" coax: Bought these for my Supra, and they're too deep for the doors. Ended up with MBQ Q's instead but I still used the Crystal grills. So you will get the speakers and the crossovers since the grills are sitting in my car.

New price $50 for BOTH SETS of speakers together

7. Kenwood KCA-R20 $100: This is a really cool toy. Hook up a Kenwood changer to this unit, get preamp outputs and you have a hidden high-end system. IIRC there were some IASCA competitors using this unit in this way- stock deck in the front, dream system in the back. This is NOT an FM modulater system, this is a real foundation for a hidden system. I was going to use this in my 300E Benz but I sold the car and kept this piece. Box is beat but this has never been installed.

8. Monster Cable 201XLN $80: Ha ha these say "Xtra Low Noise" on them. Wow some marketing guy at Monster just made a huge bonus for this one. Anyway, I pulled three of them out to use on the back of my DVD player for the 5.1 analog outputs to my receiver. Laugh, but this is pre-HDMI. So you will get 3 in the packaging and 3 not in the packaging but I still have the packages. Get it?

9. Rockford Fosgate RP7400 $60: (3) 1-farad 16v caps.

10. Lightning Audio $80: (4) 1-farad 20v caps. Just to show off, these 7 caps were supposed to go to my (4) HK TC amps that I had for sale a month ago. Amps were sold locally, caps weren't, so now what do I do with 7 farads worth of capacitance

Thanks for looking! -George

I will have to go through my boxes and pull the changer models out. I know I have one gold one and 3 black ones, the black ones I got on eBay a long time ago and they did not have brackets on all of them, and one of them the door was missing.

I'll post and update for you.

I'm still wondering whether to include the processor; the CDX-C910 isn't as cool without it so it would hurt me personally to let it go.

Thanks for the reply and I know what you mean, Im also attached to my stuff, (34 yrs old with 2 kids) and u would think I know better, but im still very attached to my cdx-c90 and ss rubicons and PPI amps! The main thing in a changer im interested in is if it has optical out for the cdx-c90 and of course thats why i want the 210eq also! Thanks for your time!

omg i cant believe i missed that coustic.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

did i miss something or is there no info on that pioneer hu? pm with model please and a price for the sony hu.

are the battery terminals for sale?
They look like crap, they're no longer gold, but more like gold underneath a layer of orange. These came from my orignal system and were already a couple of years old (although new in box) when I installed them in 1995. I pulled the system about 5 years ago, I didn't even realize they were in the pictures I took.

OBO on them. Looks like 2 4-gauge, 2 8-gauge holes. More than my current Monster terminals actually now that I think about it.

does that alpine alarm have remote start by chance??? prolly not, but thawt i'd ask anyway.....
I dunno, if I had to guess I would say probably not. I think back in this era people (me included) used the add-on DEI or Clifford remote starts. I know several of us used DEI (I worked for a DEI/Clifford dealer in Portland, OR) and added on the remote start modules with relays of course.

But seriously- look at the price!

Now open to trades. Looking for 6 channels of PPI amplification, either Art series or Powerclass. Also open to 8" very very shallow mids.

Since I'm running horns, 3 amps of differing power would be best for me, something like an A200, A300, A600 setup.
