Cleaning out the garage and found several bins of old stuff from my car audio days. These are all at least 10 years old since that's the last time I worked at a shop. Knowing that, I have to sell everything as is. However for those that know me I'm not only a pack rat, I'm a packing rat- everything came out of newspaper and bubble wrap to keep it in as good of condition as I could.
1. Alpine 8046 $50: old school alarm, this is the one that has the radar sensor on it so it was made for convertibles. Of course you can use it for any car. If you can find the old school pager this has the output for that as well.
2. Lot of Phoenix Gold RCA connectors for custom cable makers $50 for all: I have (10) pairs of PROXS and (11) pairs of unknown model, higher quality PHG RCA ends that have a bigger hole. From what I remember, the PROXS was used for the old blue PHG RCA wiring. The gunmetal ends were used for a thicker cable.
3. Coustic DA-55 $20: DA Converter for those running the Coustic systems back in the day. Since I don't have the "other side" I absolutely cannot use this. Can someone else?
4. MB Quart reference 5" coax: These were from the Reference line from when (10 years ago) Reference was still the higher end line from MBQ, pre-Q. I had a PPI A200 powering the mids and a PPI A200 powering the tweets actively, so I do not have the crossovers for these. They ended up in my brother's car so I do not know the condition of the tweets.
5. Crystal 6" coax: Bought these for my Supra, and they're too deep for the doors. Ended up with MBQ Q's instead but I still used the Crystal grills. So you will get the speakers and the crossovers since the grills are sitting in my car.
New price $50 for BOTH SETS of speakers together
7. Kenwood KCA-R20 $100: This is a really cool toy. Hook up a Kenwood changer to this unit, get preamp outputs and you have a hidden high-end system. IIRC there were some IASCA competitors using this unit in this way- stock deck in the front, dream system in the back. This is NOT an FM modulater system, this is a real foundation for a hidden system. I was going to use this in my 300E Benz but I sold the car and kept this piece. Box is beat but this has never been installed.
8. Monster Cable 201XLN $80: Ha ha these say "Xtra Low Noise" on them. Wow some marketing guy at Monster just made a huge bonus for this one. Anyway, I pulled three of them out to use on the back of my DVD player for the 5.1 analog outputs to my receiver. Laugh, but this is pre-HDMI. So you will get 3 in the packaging and 3 not in the packaging but I still have the packages. Get it?
9. Rockford Fosgate RP7400 $60: (3) 1-farad 16v caps.
10. Lightning Audio $80: (4) 1-farad 20v caps. Just to show off, these 7 caps were supposed to go to my (4) HK TC amps that I had for sale a month ago. Amps were sold locally, caps weren't, so now what do I do with 7 farads worth of capacitance
