old school rockford 801s punch info

i recently got a Rockford Fosgate 801S - Rockford Fosgate Punch 2 Ch 2400 Watt Amp, i dont realy know much about it and there isnt very much info about it that ive been able to find at least, it has 2 sets of inputs for ground and battry and not sure what the purpose of haveing 2 is, also it doesnt have a built in fuse but i have a 250 amp inline fuse on my 0 gauge running to it , ive heard ur supposed to only have 80 amp inline for it so idk if its hurting it having bigger , if anyone could give me some info on it id appriciate it.
