250.00 shipped firm.... to the cont usa...

this is a super rare old school planet audio big bang -mono block- class A/B powerhouse..

the amp screams sound quality. has a parametric eq built in. adjustable high/low Q setting

built like a tank, it uses large expensive toshiba transistors in the output stage, plus a big highly regulated power supply...it should have no problem putting out more than 1000 watts... ive seen a birthsheet online somewhere that said it put out 1300 watts at 2 ohm..

cosmetics i would give the amp a 8.5 out of 10..it has a few scuffs and scratches.. still looks really good for its age..amp has a clear plexi-glass bottom..

function- 10 out of 10. it works great..

free manual download:

built in lp crossover. with hp crossover rca outputs

strappable to another big bang amp for double the power...

that 2250p is a class d board that is used in many other manufacturers. its almost always overrated , and wont put out its rated wattage..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
i believe this series is the first amps planet audio came out with...they are all very well built, and use expensive parts . (Internal Rectifier, toshiba, sanken, fairchild....etc).. it isn't anywhere near the same as the newer amps being made today, or after this big bang was made...

i will bet you wont ever find this board in another manufacturers heatsink..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

as soon as i get some extra cash for a good clamp meter, im going to start clamping the amps i sell to show the actual wattage output at 14 volts...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Don't get me wrong...I love it and puts out good clean power. As soon as I get my new sub box built along with switching my subs out for dual 2 ohm versions, then I'll be utilizing the amp's full potential at 1 ohm. I also own the 850D (I think thats the right model #) which is very similar syle to the 2250p. And of course the 4 ch amp matching the 2250p....prob won't hook it up untill next yr when it gets warm/hot again. I got lucky coming across the 2 os amps on here from flossin.
