maby do up the pair in the rear deck like this : EDIT - sorry im dumb and forgot your car is a vert... my bad -
i like the gauge layoutyou asked to see a pic of my dash - im not proud of it yet - but its getting there slowly. im a have to do some fiberglass work to it and get rid of the center speakers and go with a b&m floor shifter - I cant stand my colum shifter atm. its driving me nuts

I like posting pictures in your thread. plz dont b mad
i'm having a battery drainage issue...i haven't looked into it yetyeah unfortunetly some azz hole decided to bugger up the plastic piece surrounding the guages where the steering colum goes so he could pull it out with out droping down the steering colum. I found out why later when the spedo cable stoped working again.
so fiberglass is in my cars future for the dash / kick pods / guage layout / switch pannel layout for the hydraulics - mounted in dash - im tired of the stupid 10 switch box laying next to me on the front seat.... my list of crap to do to the car goes on and on.
right now there even is no subwoofer/s in it... im still wating to get welding work done under the rear end for the coil springs to sit up in little pockets to allow long coils - for a nice ride - but still be able to fully lay the rear end of the car out .
what did u get done on the stang recently ?
any pix of the interior / trunk ?
being an older car mine may not be too badI see fun times ahead - you and the dmm probing around endlessly to find the source of power drain...I played that game with my vette it in deed was a ton of fun... especialy since fiberglass is not a good conductor
Psst...It's a small block. Do you know what one of the most popular mods is to that particular OLDS engine? It's taking a set of Olds 350 heads and tossing them on there to boost compression.my 79 ***** AM 403 is a big block as well....
I've never seen a 4cyl in a 70's FirebirdPsst...It's a small block. Do you know what one of the most popular mods is to that particular OLDS engine? It's taking a set of Olds 350 heads and tossing them on there to boost compression.
Pontiac used the following corporate engines in the Firebird series during the 70's:
4cy - Iron Duke - Pontiac
v6 - Buick
305 - Chevy
350 - Pontiac
350 - Chevy
400 - Pontiac
403 - Olds
455 - Pontiac
You's gots lots to learn. Look at your vin for your 79. It's got a K in it for the engine designation which denotes the Oldsmobile 403.
yep biggest motor ford put in the mustang in 73this thread is full of fail. 351c is a big block my ***. wtf
