Today I pulled out this old Pioneer 5 1/4 that was too small for the door....

Getting ready to mount this Blaupunkt 6.5 Velocity mid which is a perfect fit for the factory hole ...plus mounting depth is no problem due to vented side glass

True, the owner prolly just wanted the door speakers replaced. Or this is one he has for sale on his used car lot and had to stick something in it to cover up all the noises the engine was making.
