I just want to share my excitement about my newest amp to add to the collection.

First off, I got it for a steal. That would be free. It is considered one of Soundstream cleanest amps. It is from the late 80's. Its the MC 245. 5 Channel, 35x4, 100x1 with built in electronic crossover. The guy I got it from said it has a blown channel, but he cant remember which one.

Very nice find, even though its a lil before my time. I loved the Soundstream amps of the 90s, a lil out of my budget though...

There was a 245 on eBay I believe you don't see them very often for sure.

Nice amps, never used them though I had a pair of Carver M-240's in the era that the 245 was made in.

I have a lanzar opti500 got it for free but cost 100shipped bucks for zed to fix. board has sept 1992 on it.

plus i would still need a MC500...but no thanks i don't want to collect anymore i have a big *** hole in my pocket for too long.
