I know what you mean...I still have my Kicker XS50 and a ZR360 and ZR120 so I could put together a pretty serious old school kicker set up....I also have a set of old Kicker 6x9 subs.....a set of old Kicker 8's bnib....I may run Kicker...or put together Orion with my Vintage Orion collection....I juswt have to look over the car and decide what it needs...

yeah kicker and orion once were both great companies...now neither is much better than power acoustic....or soundstorm.....very few quality companies left..

is it the W6 model with 4 wheel disc? definately get an energy suspensions hyperflex kit for it. I have the twin to your car in my driveway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but mine is a 78 Z with a gm 400. your engine should be a last year run on the 400 BPO engine IIRC unless it has been swapped for a gm engine.

•V8 400, "X" Code - 220 hp

•V8 403, "K" Code - 185 hp

that will tell you what factory was and rated HP.

if it is an original T/A 6.6 it should have had a 4-Speed Manual, Borg-Warner T-10

IIRC you can use Mark VII heads from a 350 bpo and boost the compression to about 10.5:1 ( stock is around 7.5 - 8:1 IIRC)

i'll have tol check it all out when i pick it up...it only has 77-78,000 original miles...so not bad for a 30 year old car....I'll post several pics....I'm hoping it has the disc brakes all around...what code for that? as far as cars mines the k code

i have the perfect powertrain for you....455 w/400 ******. Motor needs rebuilt tho. I also bought a Olds W30 (455) for my cutty ... gonna have about 400hp when i'm done with it

I'm gonna redo the original graphics...I'll do a poll soon on the color choices...It looks like red...blue....charcoal...and gold are the factory colors
