i think they will be doing away with checks pretty soon all together, digital stuff and swiping cards is just too popular now.

Doubt it. In some cases, checks are necessary and credit payments are not accepted. If you don't have cash, what else is there to use?

oh my ****ing god i work at a gas station and i know exactly what you mean. i especially hate it when people buy a ****ing soda and are like "can i write this for $10 over" i wanna reach across the counter and slap the shit out of them. I hope they get rid of checks soon, they are stupid.

get a god **** bank account and debit card. just cause you dont have credit doesnt mean its cash or check only dude. if you have an acct to get checks you can just as easily get a debit card.

you can get them with savings accounts too... there really isnt a need for checks. i just had to order checks last month, i pay ONE bill a month with a check... it pissed me off that i had to order 300 checks to pay one bill a month... at least ill have checks for the rest of my life, assuming my bank info doesnt change...

or, i could start writing checks at the grocery store for $15 worth of groceries...

yeah most i ever do is 10 bucks and if someone tries to do it a couple times i dont let them... checks are mainly a problem because people spend money they dont even ****ing have yet, even worse than credit cards cause my parents have to deal with a check recovery place that will take them to court and shit.

i was happy the other day to see someone get arrested in our parking lot for having a warrant out cause they wrote like 10 hot checks to us (and many more to other local businesses) over the weekend a couple months ago...
