i got the option to buy a new headunit it is a Pioneer DEH-X36 is it worth swapping out the old alpine???

ya sorry about that i mixed up the model numbers on both units on the new one i used the remote model and on the old alpine i had the model number confused

That model number don come up on search.

Which model # is your Alpine?

as it says cdm7854 alpine and the pioneer is a deh x36 with ipod and pandora control

That looks like a Walmart Pioneer model. Neither of these options is great, but if you're going to use the extra features on the Pioneer that should make the decision easy.
