My car crapped out on me on monday ( 81 cadillac deville )while i was driving. The fuel pump and sender went bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I had to have it towed to a local goodyear so i could see what it was. Yesterday i was told it was my fuel pump and sender so i had to order that from a dealer since i couldnt get one from my job ( JK Auto parts.) Well the pump came in today and it was 400$ for the pump and sender //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif Well i had the goodyear put it in and got my car today, to diagnose it and to fix it was about 200$ on top of that i just had 4 new tires put in the week before 250$. this just isnt my month. On the bright side i got my psp working so i can play emulators and backed up iso's. No need to buy games. I just had to vent out some steam.

One more thing, i got pulled over 2 weeks ago for driving with a "headlight out" I was stopped about 2 min from my house. I was given a ticket for that, during the time the police were still there my girlfriend check on my headlights and both were in perfect working order. I called the non emergency police to see if i could have to an officer sent back to show them they were working. The officer on the phone said he couldn't do anything about it. I took pics of all my lights working and am going to take that to court. **** police always have to pick on me.

sucky for you......

however, it is possible that there is a loose connection on the assembly causing 1 of the lights to not stay on all the time. i would jiggle the headlight harness on both the lights to see if thats the case. Since its a simple equipment failure (malfunction) all you would do is fix it and prove it to the court. pics with dates in them ect...or they might have someone come out n check them...idk

i love old classic cars..... My car is in great shap for a 25year old car, only has 37k and is my dream car.

One more thing, i got pulled over 2 weeks ago for driving with a "headlight out" I was stopped about 2 min from my house. I was given a ticket for that, during the time the police were still there my girlfriend check on my headlights and both were in perfect working order. in my area, they issue "fix it tickets" like if your headlight is out, you go get it fixed, go to the police station and a cop will come outside and verify you fixed it, then the ticket gets dropped

Atleast once a week, i got followed once all the way to my house from work (1 mile) and the cop pull in behind me once i parked and asked if he could search my car. This is what he said " hello im new to this area and wanted to introduce myself, is it ok if i search your car?"
