i agree. I haven't heard a lot of subs, but i have heard a w7 and i thorougly enjoyed it. It was a very musical sub that pounded when it wanted too.

my 12w7 has as much output and better sq in a small sealed box as my 18" memphis lvs in 6.5 cubes @ 35.

Plenty of woofers that will own a W7 and at half the price.
IDMAX probably one of the best out there, if you can get a hold of the older RE XXX, i heard FI is making a sub that is superior to that of the W7, me personally im an SQ fan so i bought Soundsplinters RLP4 great SQ sub at a great price and can pound 500-1000 watts RMS all day long.

Another Sub that is probably the best sub in the world is the TC sounds

LMS-5400 Super Driver

its a superb subwoofer at the same price but its said to be the best in the world, nothing will ever touch this sub.

Then you have the TC12oem something really special at a ridiculous low price look at its specs and you will see that price doesn't always mean quality and superiority.

Everything you said is pretty much subjective. Performance depends on installs more than you would think.

Idmax new and authorized is $400. (for the 10") Not really half the price. FI makes the BTL (2000 watts rms) which probably has a greater SPL potential (still $400). The TC super woofer your talking about $775 at its cheapest and is suggested to be ran with more than 2000 more watts than the W7's rms rating.

All in all, dont post something like this again.

I sell them. I like it a lot. It sounds like ...20hz~90Hz? Sounds better SQ-wise than the W7, for sure. SPL is very comparable(W7 13" model) as well. I like the W7 for what it is, no reason to hate it, no reason at all. Unless you drink *** out of your @$$, joke.

Crutchfield has the sub for $699 and loaded in a BA enclosure for $750.

I don't think they will ever get in the $300 range. I won't pay much more for a single sub. I don't enjoy car audio that much.
