My electrical system is one of the few things I can count on in my car...(Hence, why I'm looking for another car, gas is just too **** expensive to be in my car all the time...)

Just couldn't see myself running Hifonics...

The 802SX's are top of my list right now, as the price is right.

memphis 4000d? i have a friend who had 4 400.1's and was selling them due to having an addition to the family. with the ma stuff it would be a good idea to have a 16-17v set up

Well, my batts both read 15.5V at idle, I'm just worried about current draw... I know the 4000d's are hogs when it comes to current...

i would talk to erik harbour (he is a ma audio tech) before using the 802's. he almost ALWAYS recomends 4000ds for comps and its not very often an amplifier made by the same company that does about the same power is better/more efficiant with less cost. 16-17v set ups rest at 17-17.7 (car not running) and when set up right only drop to 16-16.5 v on a burp. with the voltage you have i would run something more regulated just for the confidence that you will PROBABLY have less problems. alot of the team kinetik guys run different amps all have a strong point and there are tons of variables. im not trying to preach to you just trying to help.

I was just curious about the 802's because I could find them cheaper, but oh well...

8kw won't really be that cheap to attain anyhow.
