ok guys, need help wiring up this system

ok, my system consists of two audiobahn AW1251SE, here is a pic of what they look like (the 8 total terminals is what throws me off).

ok, and the amp I have is a Jensen A600HLX shown here.

all will be in a bandpass box...

I have no clue how to wire them up with that amp, or how to set the amp up..it's got a total of 8 RCA preouts, and can run on 2/3/4 channels. Any help would be great..and if someone could supply like a crappy paint drawing of how to do it, cuz I really don't wanna mess anything up.

Thanks I got that in my manual also, but I don't know how to wire them up so they have the right ohm load to that amp..and I don't know how to wire them to the amp and where to put the RCA"s

What load do you want to run? Should say on bottom of amp the lowest impedance the amp can handle. The subs can be wired to produce a 2,4 or 8 Ohm load. As far as the RCA connections, there appears to be 4 in and 4 out, use the in section. As far as the wiring diagram, I'll check my manual since it lists the impedance produced by different wiring options. Do you want to run the amp bridged or not?

does the amp have the minimum Ohm load on bottom of amp? I haven't been able to find what it's stable at. Worse case scenario you could run it at 4Ohms but will probably get more power if can be run at 2Ohms. I'll try to get a diagram together for a 4Ohm load. May take a little while though.

What model is the Rockford and do you want to run the subs at 2, 4 or 8 Ohms?

why did you have to get those... those are why people say audiobahn sucks. anyway. Just to let you know those aren''t 8 terminals going different places it's only 4. Two positive and Two negative. Those subs are dual 4 ohm which im sure you already know. Your amp doesn't have 8 RCA preouts it has 4 low level inputs and 4 low level outputs. The jensen is 2 ohm stable. And here is how you would wire it, don't feel like drawing a picture so just follow me.

Sub #1

positive on the subs terminal 1 to channel 1 positive on amp.

negative terminal on same side of sub to the positive terminal on the other side of the sub

last open terminal goes to the channel two negative on the amp

Sub #2

DO THE same but with channels 3 and 4 on the amp

this should give you an 8 ohm load for each of the subs and because you are running it bridged that bumps it down to a 4 ohm load. You cant get the maximum power from the sub due to the speakers configuration. You could just hook up each one of the terminals to the each of the channels but i believe there is maybe a 20w gain if wired this way. here is the other way to wire it.

Sub #1

Positive on one of the subs terminals to positive on channel 1

negative on same side of sub to negative on channel 1

same with the positive and negative on opposite side of sub but to channel 2

Sub #2

same as sub #1 but with channels 3 and 4

hope that helps out. With this wiring setup you are running them at 4 ohms to each channel which again will not run the maximum power of the amp.

This will wire the subs to run at 4 OHms.
