Ohms correct for 6 subs???

I installed 6 ED kv9.2 subs in my crew and they are being pushed with an ED 9.1. I wired the subs according to JL Audio's website. These are dual vc 4 ohm speakers. After install and wiring I measured the ohms at 1.7 however, the JL site says it would be 1.3 ohms. Is it possible with the six speakers and the wiring that I could increase ohms by .4? I have checked my wiring many times and can't find where I made an error. Oh, and I did a polarity check with a 9v everything moves the same way at the same time. Thanks for any info?

If I touch the two leads of the DMM together I get a 0 reading, which would indicate it is working correctly (I think). When I touch the leads to the sub wiring (not connected to the amp) the reading is 1.7 hmmm...

go measure 1 VC to see what the DCR is on it, to be sure.

The 110 is kinda a joke... I maxed it out but I know there is more in the subs/amp that I am currently running. Thought about going to 4 subs ported but I am too **** lazy and its 0 degrees so I am not that motivated!
